Quality based management
The Calsina Carré Group understands that management based on quality and continuous improvement is critical to providing the highest level of service for its customers; therefore, it is part of the objectives of each of the company’s departments.
All of the Grupo Calsina Carré’s centres are certified with the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 quality standards.
Safety, health and environmental protection
Within the quality processes, the Grupo Calsina Carré pays special attention to all those procedures that affect the health and safety of both their internal and external collaborators. In the same manner, it takes special steps to protect the environment (less polluting vehicles, waste management, etc.) All personnel receive specific training within their field of activity, especially drivers and warehouse personnel.
The company’s policy is to renew vehicles every 3 years, and encourage the use of more efficient and cleaner vehicles. Currently, the new vehicles that become part of our fleet meet all the strict Euro5 standards.
Moreover, we encourage our customers to use intermodal transport as a means of achieving energy savings and reductions in the emission of pollutants.
Quality Assurance Department
The Grupo Calsina Carré has its own staff dedicated solely to ensuring compliance with the quality standards defined by the management of the company and to motivate the entire staff. They are responsible for maintaining the overall quality manual and coordinating internal audits performed by specialised auditors.
Policy of quality, safety, health and environment
The directorate of GRUPO CALSINA CARRÉ is feeling committed in the sustainable development of the company where is realized it activity, and therefore it main target is to offer a service that gives satisfaction to the customers requirements, with a competitive price and the highest level of Quality, Safety, Health and respect of the environment.
In order to give an efficient response to this target, this policy of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment is presented and integrated in all the activities and decisions in every level of the Company, and the ones of the collaborators.
GRUPO CALSINA CARRÉ for the development of this policy is working with a System Integrated of Management (SIG) documented and regularly checked for it adequacy and efficiency, based on the rules ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 and on the evaluation criteria’s from the CEFIC-SQAS.
The Directorate of GRUPO CALSINA CARRÉ, is giving the technical, human and organisation resources’, needed and appropriated to the nature, magnitude and environmental impact in order to develop it activity as Logistic Operator of Road Transport Services and Warehousing, inside and outside of their facilities.
To reach the target of this policy, GRUPO CALSINA CARRÉ submits its activities to the following directives and commitments:
- To fulfil the legislation and regulation in force.
- To improve continually the Quality, Safety, and respect of the environment in all the operatives.
- To make investments intended to the formation of the staff, renovation of the vehicles, technical improvement of the facilities and provide complementary resources, in order to be every time more efficient, safe, ecologic and competitive.
- To train and to sensitize the company staff in all the fields to guarantee the spreading of this policy, so everybody can contribute efficiently in the fulfilling of the target.
- To boost the image of the company.
- To have the adequate organisational structure.
- To increase the productivity derived from the improvement of the service.
- To reduce the No Quality costs, by means of the detection and correction of the No conformity.
- To improve the integration of the relations customer / supplier.
- To boost the Safety and Health of the staff and the collaborators.
- To look after the protection and the safety of the persons, and for the correct use of the resources and equipment from our property or not.
- To look alter the properties, and operations against eventual loss due to intentional destruction or robbery.
- To promote a system of prevention Management.
- To ban the consumption of alcohol, drugs, narcotics or medicine that can affect the security of the workers during the working day.
- To promote actions for a safe driving on the roads, base don the directives “Conduct on security” (CSS) from the CEFIC-ECTA.
- To create a working environment where are respected the dignity, the free sexual orientation, and equal opportunities and treatment for all the workers.
The directorate of GRUPO CALSINA CARRÉ, is having as a base of the SIG this policy, implemented and communicated to all the company staff, and to all the persons that are working in the name of the company, and is at everybody’s disposal in general.
The directorate of GRUPO CALSINA CARRÉ, provide the framework to establish and review the targets and aims through the search and adoption of the best available technologies (B.A.T.) and promote the cooperation of everybody for the fulfilling of the targets. The human resources, inside or outside of the company, and towards the suppliers and customers have to be transparent and honest.
This policy is reviewed periodically by the directorate.
