Calsina Carré Transports & Logistics

SITL and the links that connect us to France

The International Transport & Logistics trade show (SITL) is one of southern Europe's most important events for transport, logistics and supply chain management. Held annually in Paris, it attracts professionals and companies from all over the sector. Once again, Calsina Carré was present at this great event, which took place in Paris from 19 to 21 March.

France is one of our major markets, as well as a strategic point of connection to Europe of obvious relevance due to its geographical location. Nowadays, we carry out more than 1,500 weekly shipments in France, both import and export, and we continue to expand the intermodal service with new routes in this area in order to move towards greener operations. Rail transport continues to be a major commitment in this area with more than 400 monthly departures.

Being aware of the significant importance of the French market for the company, last year we opened a new office in Paris. This opening represented a great support for our continued development and growth in the French market, allowing us to establish a stronger presence with a local team and an operational base from which logistics services are coordinated, now more effectively. Therefore, once again this year, our participation in SITL has been essential as well as of great importance.

This internationally renowned event provided us with an exceptional platform to showcase all the innovative solutions and services offered by Calsina Carré. Our well-attended stand was an ideal showcase that allowed us to establish new partnerships for the future, thus strengthening ties with our French customers. An extra point to add: it was all made possible by the exceptional work made by our team, who returned home with a very good feeling, satisfied with a job well done.

Finally, our participation in SITL as well as the support of our Paris headquarters with a local team, represent significant steps in our strategy of growth and consolidation in the French market.
